KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Project Leadership: Take the helm in planning and executing small to large-sized initiatives, collaborating with local, regional, and global stakeholders to implement applications ranging from e-commerce and mobile apps to ERP systems.

Project Management: Lead and oversee both onsite and remote teams, ensuring seamless project implementation and day-to-day IT operational support. Your role involves leading in-house and 3rd party outsourced teams, fostering a collaborative environment.

Business Collaboration: Work closely with business teams and the extended IT team globally to transform business requirements into scalable system solutions. Rapidly respond to market dynamics and business demands, collaborating with leadership to mitigate risks and prioritize projects.

Global Connectivity: Act as the Japan IT Business Partner, serving as a single point of escalation for strategic issues. Foster collaboration between Japan, the rest of Asia, and global headquarters to exchange best practices, stay informed about global trends, and propose innovative solutions.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Project Management Expertise: Showcase a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience leading and implementing projects in collaboration with business users.

Technological Prowess: Demonstrate advanced technical competencies in digital technologies, staying proficient in emerging tools, innovations, and trends.

Holistic Understanding: Possess a solid understanding of the applications landscape, integrations, and overall system architecture topology. Showcase in-depth experience in B2C and B2B Commerce, Omni-channel, retail store systems, and ERP systems.

Leadership and Communication Skills: Exhibit strong interpersonal, networking, and negotiating skills in a global environment. Effective communication in both English and Japanese is a must.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
Familiarity with infrastructure, IT security, and daily IT Helpdesk Operations is a plus.

Knowledge of RPA Implementation or workflow system implementation would be a huge asset

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience

Educational Background: Hold a university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Methodology Expertise: Sound experience with various system implementation methodologies. Possession of Agile/PMI/Cloud certifications will be considered a strong advantage.
