One of the biggest company in Japan is looking for an IT Security Engineer who can join their International Team and has the expertise to carry out the following duties :

Conduct information security risk assessments, security compliance audits and cybersecurity audits. Evaluates and test the design and operating effectiveness of IT security controls. Maintain compliance of internal IT security controls by meeting internal and external information security requirements. Documents, investigates and reports cybersecurity compliance issues and incidents. Works with cloud platform service providers to ensure information security risk findings are reviewed and solutions are implemented.

Collaboration & Interaction: Enhances relationships and networks with senior internal/external partners who are not familiar with the subject matter often requiring persuasion. Adapts style to differing audiences and often advises others on difficult matters.

Complexity & Problem Solving: Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of information requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Devises solutions based on limited information and precedent and adapts existing approaches to resolve issues. Uses evaluation, judgment, and interpretation to select right course of action. Work is done independently and is reviewed at critical points.

Knowledge & Application: Complete knowledge and full understanding of area of specialization, principles and practices within a professional discipline. Assesses unusual circumstances and uses sophisticated analytical and problem-solving techniques to identify cause. Resolves and assesses a wide range of issues in creative ways and suggests variations in approach. This role is for experienced professional.

Required Skills :
* Minimum of 5 years of related experience

* Deep understanding of IT security standards such as the ISO2700 series, PCI DSS and NIST

* Understanding of ICT and Security, knowledge of System and Software Development Processes and Lifecycles

* Ability to translate standards requirements into concrete actions

* Strong critical and proactive thinking and problem-solving skills

* Experience helping internal stakeholders prepare for PCI DSS, ISMS, FISC or other similar security audit

* Basic knowledge and understanding of cloud platforms (bare metal, network, storage, databases, virtual machines, containers, and more)

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team

Good to Have :
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Self motivated
* Familiarity with Japanese regulations such ISMAP, FISC and J-SOX is a strong bonus
* Any Japanese language ability a plus
* Project management experience
* Experience or desire to work in a dynamic, multicultural and global environment
