[About the role]

We are currently seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer (Web) with a strong passion for driving tech-driven growth in the Japanese market. This full-time position will report to the Engineering Manager and be an integral part of our expanding Technology team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Full-Stack Software/Web Development.

As a self-driven and motivated individual, you will collaborate closely with our Engineering teams in Japan and globally, as well as our Product/Design teams. Your responsibilities will not only include developing software and web applications but also contributing to defining and improving the products, addressing the specific needs of our increasing Japanese market.

経験・スキル

● 5 years of full stack development experience of B2B or B2C applications
● Experience in consolidating data from multiple source systems
● PHP and MySQL experience (Laravel)
● Modern JavaScript (ES6+) and the experience with Vue, Nuxt, and Node
● CSS and the inspiration/sense of turning designs to CSS
● DRY code with automated tests and value readability and simplicity.
● Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
● Understanding the value of code review and willingness to practise with the team.
● Writing complex SQL query from scratch as using an ORM
● Experience in working with and refactoring legacy codebases
● Experience in architecting and implementing RESTful APIs
● Experience in Documenting and maintaining software functionality
● Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
