About the Role

This position is within the Ads Division, which is composed of various teams all working together to construct systems that perfectly balance the interests of users, advertisers, publishers, and our organization. The team is chiefly focused on maintaining, building, and advancing robust, high throughput, low latency online services to efficiently deliver Ads.

In the fast-paced world of advertising, quick and efficient delivery is key. They are inviting you to join them in the development of a high throughput, low latency application specifically for ad serving. The current solution, which is already serving tens of millions of users, is ripe for innovation and improvement. They are embarking on the creation of the next-generation platform, designed to sustain 10-100x growth. They've mapped out a cloud-native path for this development and would be thrilled to have you join them in turning this vision into reality.

What does the day-to-day look like?
● You’ll build the foundation of the Next Gen. Ads Delivery system
● You’ll question the current solution, propose improvements then realize them with the
team
● You’ll work closely with teams like Ads Ranking, Measurement and other vertical Ads
product teams, and you care about the developer experience so much because those
team members are your users
What experience is necessary for this role?
● Fluent in Java/Kotlin and SQL
● Fluent in using Kafka, Redis, MySql and Cassandra
● Deep understanding in batching and streaming data processing
● Experienced in CICD
● Experienced in microservice powered by container technology such as Docker and
Kubernetes
What other qualities/experience would be nice to have?
● Language ability: Golang, TypeScript, Python
● Db experience: Cassandra, DynamoDb and MongoDb
● Engineering experience: migrate on-prem system onto cloud
● Industry experience: Digital Advertising Technology
