The Visual Merchandiser, Japan will be accountable for the implementation of the global VM strategy across Japan in both retail and outlet stores.

• Collaborate with VM Manager, Area Manager, Store Managers and in-store VM personnel to successfully and commercially implement the Global VM strategy for Japan including:
o In-store displays
o Windows
o Installations
• Ensure that VM guidelines and newsletters are shared on time
• Ensure VM installations are completed on time and outside of trading hours to ensure brand image is upheld.
• Ensure a consistent brand image across different retail and outlet concepts are maintained and developed in line with global VM standards.
• Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure all elements of new store openings run smoothly and successfully, including the interpretation and execution of planograms.
• Conduct frequent market visits to both retail and outlet stores to ensure window displays, interior displays and the overall presentation of the stores (merchandise, lighting, furniture, fixture and display props) are maintained and in line with global VM strategy.
• Collaborate with in-store VM personnel to submit relevant reporting to HQ in a timely manner.
• Communicate and collaborate with contractors and suppliers on window, VM materials and display props production, ensuring to always operate within VM budget.
• Build VM capability within the retail team and in-store VM Angels.
• Check and follow up deliveries of global VM materials and props from HQ and warehouse to ensure the correct quality standard and report any concerns.
• Collaborate with Marketing Team on special events & presentation layout set up.
• Support ad-hoc initiatives with your knowledge and expertise to ensure brand image is always upheld.

Required:
o 2 years experience in a similar role
o Strong written and verbal communication skills
o Experience in influencing and motivating colleagues towards desired

• Advantageous:
o Experience within VM merchandising in accessories
